I registered and confirmed email, and the site reports reputation 51 for
me, but it doesn't allow me to do anything else (ask/answer a question,
vote) and it doesn't show me in the Recent Followers list. Is there a
further delay after the initial setup before I can become active?

Chris,
Thanks for answering my call for help. I'm seeing a lot more activity
on the LTSP StackExchange proposed site.
But... we have a long way to go.
For everybody else... if you haven't used up your votes yet or haven't
added questions yet, please do so.

I have run out of my question allowance; so if anyone is lacking
inspiration,
here are a few more that you are free to cut-n-paste, if you think
they are
worthwhile. Yes you could just go through this mailing list, but
that takes
times, so here are a few ready prepared...
N.B. These are example questions, not questions to which I am
seeking a
response.
I have an old PC without onboard networking, I have installed a
new network
card, but it is not offering LAN boot in the BIOS. What are my
options for
getting it working with LTSP?
We are opening a small satellite operation, and ideally want to
give them
logins to our central LTSP server. Can they PXE boot over WAN
connection, or
do I need some other connection method?
I understand that LTSP can be used to log into a Windows server,
but when I
log in I just get to a Linux desktop and cannot see anywhere to
configure it
to log into a Windows server instead.
I am commissioning a new LTSP server and wondering if there is a
recommended
partitioning schema for LTSP?
I have dual monitors, is there anything different that I need to
do to get
them working in LTSP?
There seem to be several solutions for shadowing users' screens,
but most seem
to be geared up for the teaching environment, is there a
recommended solution
for normal IT support?
