Hello All

On some setups using Ubuntu 12.04, having nv graphics cards in clients
when Firefox is started (on such a client) the session is logged out
because the xserver has crashed. On the same client when Chromium is
started the crash occurs once Chromium has been closed.

Our knowledgeable Alkis Georgopoulos (alkisg) has posted a bug report

      https://bugs.launchpad.net/ltsp/+bug/1072711

For some of us the problem has been solved following Alkis's advice, namely:

Open up a terminal on the client and put (as the user)

      unset LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT
      firefox

If this works for you he then advises to remove a file from the server
(in the case where the ltsp setup is not using chroot) which would
then apply for all users on all clients once the nbd image is
regenerated.

For those having this problem on an ltsp which does use chroot I am
not sure but I'm guessing that the same command should be run within
the chroot on the server followed by a regeneration of the nbd image.

      sudo rm /usr/share/ldm/rc.d/X51-opengl
