That's understandable but I, for one, really appreciate the way that fat 
clients are supported in the current model.  It makes it very easy to 
temporarily and nondestructively re-purpose beefy lab desktop systems 
for a controlled software environment (e.g., to deliver an exam).

I would hate to see that feature go away.
