Gnome is the GUI. LDM is needed for the Thin Client Manager to be used with
client sessions. I think LDM eventually calls on gnome for the GUI. In fact, I
do see the grpahical session strt (ornange background) and then the screen goes
blank white.
I am looking for a way to troubleshoot this. I do not see any errors in
./xsession-errors, auth.log etc.
