Look in /etc/ld.so.conf and /etc/ld.so.conf.d/* for that path.  On my
ubuntu system, it is contained within
/etc/ld.so.conf.d/x86_64-linux-gnu.conf

If it's not there, create it and make sure that /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu
is in that file, and then run ldconfig.
