If you use [x]emacs bindings you can just C-Space or C-S-Percent
move where ever you need to and then cut/copy using C-w / M-w.
If you are using CUA bindings then there probbaly isn't the eqivalent of
mark-point or push-point whatever it's called. You can always add your
own binding for the appropriate lyx functions. See emacs.bind.
