I'm not seeing this. See attached. This is using just the basic AMS Theorems module.

Have you customized the layout files in some way? I think that is where these are picked up from.

This was helpful in finding the problem. I was also using  the "Standard theorems numbered by section" module and that's where the oversight is. See
