This could be another variant of
http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2415. Does it work if you
deinstall dvipng and reconfigure LyX?
Thank you. I did so. The problem is gone. I use Miktex.
I can add a note on the Wiki. I assume that dvipng is usually redundant
for lyx, but it would be good to add a note about what problems may
occur if dvipng is removed - in case somebody has an idea.
In the bugzilla I see that the problem is declared "resolved" Maybe it
is not necessary, therefore to post a note on the Wiki.
