Just thought I would let you know I finally got it to work. I did the
following:
Removed All the libforms.so* and forms.h files from my system.
Removed /etc/ld.so.cache.
Ran /sbin/ldconfig
Installed xforms .88
Reran /sbin/ldconfig
Don't know why it worked, but it did.
