Very nice. There have been a couple of times that I wanted just that—basically a Tufte type layout but with the references in a reference list and the notes beside the text. Getting snotez to work in Lyx may be more than I can easily figure out but, for a two or three page paper which was what I wanted it for, I can do it in ERT which one quick and dirty test says will work with plain text and a simple table.
