I have the same problem. I have just downloaded version 2.14 on a Mac. The eyes on the toolbar are greyed out. I followed the procedure to solve the issue. Though, pdf is not an option when it comes to output. I only have Rich Text Format and LyXHTML. Any ideas on what I should do?
