that it was needed only initially for pre 9.53.3 versions of ghostscript
and since then -dALLOWPSTRANSPARENCY should work.

there are some packages which read and write on PS level. This is the reason
why I _always_ use both optional arguments. However, in general
-dALLOWPSTRANSPARENCY
should be enough.
