Hi! First thanks to all who helped me with my last problem (seperation of figures from text).
Now I found another one: I have splitted my Thesis chapterwise in seperate files (for easier editing) and put them all together in a Main File consisting only of Include-Tags (Include-Type "Input") for the corresponding files, ToC and List of Figures (LoF) and of course Thesis-wide settings like Layout. When I compile this file to DVI or PS (not tested otherwise) I get a correct ToC, but an empty LoF... The seperate files give correct LoF when telling LyX to enter them there, but this is of course not what I want. Any idea how to solve this? The Main File is added in case it's a failure I made in there, the other files are available when asked for, because they are IMHO too big for a mailing list (200k in total). BTW: What's the difference between "include" and "input" when including files (or where can I read about it)? Thanks in advance Philipp
