Also, not that you cannot use both LyX 1.3.x (x<4) and 1.3.4 with the same .lyx directory, since they use a different syntax for the textclass.lst file (but reconfigure cures that).

I did the reconfigure as both. Also am I incorrect in sayiing that since lyx-1.3.0 when you run lyx for the first time it runs reconfigure automaticly?
