Hi!

I been trying to make a matrix with square borders and identification labels on top for columns and to the left for rows, both of them outside of the borders.

I typed the following equation inside the math editor (so I could get preview)

\bordermatrix{&i-1&i&j-1&j\cr&l^{2}&lm&-l^{2}&-lm\cr&lm&m^{2}&-lm&-m^{2}\cr&-l^{2}&-lm&l^{2}&lm\cr&-lm&-m^{2}&lm&m^{2}}\ \begin{array}{c}\\i-1\\i\\j-1\\j\end{array}

wich gives me an approximation, but the results are not quite good.

Does any one knows a better way to do this?

Thanks

Eugenio Guevara
