./configure make make install
This installs the dictionary in the actual Aspell folder at /usr/ local/lib/aspell-0.60
It was already there.
Yes, the folder is their, but the compiled library is not hence the English that LyX is searching for it is also the process that Tigger goes through when you place dictionary in cocoAspell.
So, the compile is what will trigger the library to be usable!
