I alway do that. The problem is that i have some difficulties using the aling, alignat, split, multiline amsmath environments in lyx. On the cited pdf i get some examples on how to use them in latex, but the lyx implementation is still obscure to me. For example, how to define the alignat spacing and to define alignment points?
