Hi again,

Just solved it!

Found Robin Turner's solution on the mailing list, but I couldn't make it work _because tex does not like percentage signs as a part of the preamble_... Had probably been put there by the web interface of MArc or something. How stupid can I be... Well, all happy now though - I enclosed a short example of a humanist-style reference type if there are anyone else wondering about this. In my preamble I have (just as in Robin Turner's case):

\usepackage{babel}
\usepackage[titleformat=italic,titleformat=commasep,commabeforerest,ibidem=strict,citefull=first,chicago,pages=format]{jurabib}
\renewcommand{\cite}{\footcite}

PS:Here's a tip to check for errors in the lyx file: export it to a .tex file, and hope your text editor have Latex code highlighting. I solved my problem by doing this, at least.

Best,

Arne Kjell

Hi everyone,

I've just started using Lyx, but already it is such a huge relief compared to Word - thanks! Just to change the font on the screen without affecting the font in print...

I saw that jurabib will have more native support in version 1.4, but I just wanted to ask if anyone is working with humanities-styles of their bibliographies in Lyx? - it could be jurabib or any other tex package that comply to the oxford style or equivalent, with the full reference as a footnote. If someone has a setup they are happy with (maybe proud of it as well? ;-)) I would be happy to hear how you do it.

Thanks,
