I guess that you are on windows, inserted the graphic via ERT and stumbled over this bug: http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1751 > > What do I wrong? That is only an idea. This is normally not needed, but might help in this case if you insist on using ERT. If you insert the graphic natively then all paths that are not full paths are interpreted as relative to the document directory. Georg
