This is a known bug with LyX 1.5.5 on OS X 10.3.9: http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4907 It looks like the binary package for LyX 1.5.5 was compiled differently than the previous versions. I'd really like to have a solution of this problem, too! Georg
