Hi Courtney,

I know it doesn't help you, but this went smoothly on my MBP under both SN and
Lion.

As I recall I brought my JB into pairing mode by moving the power switch to
the upper most position as you must have also done. I think it worked the same
way in SL, but I then went into status menus -> bluetooth -> setup bluetooth
device and it immediately located my JB. I assume you're not doing anything
differently -- is the Mac not finding your JB? Did you pair previously? If so
perhaps you want to delete the phantom device and retry?

  Best regards.
  Geoff

Subject: Pairing the jam box with the mac?

  Hi,
I've been trying to pair my Jawbone Jambox with my mac, but it doesn't seem
like they play nice, :) When I put my jambox in pairing mode, and select it
with my mac, my mac goes silent. The jambox is turned on. Is there a proper
way to pair it with the mac?
  Thanks,
  Courtney
