May I just point out that the MacBook Air doe snot have an Ethernet port. The only kind of network interface is, therefore, WiFi and, if you possess such a thing as a BlueTooth dongle or modem, you could do it that way. Otherwise, the USB stick is the only way. Creating a boot image is very easy but I guess it's only fair to say that the new user might find the process daunting. I would be happy to write an article for our blog on this if anybody thinks it would be of help?
