I've tried doing a "port clean --all ncurses", but I get exactly
the same thing afterwards.
Paul, I think this is the problem that was just fixed:
http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/changeset/24928
So please wait awhile (12 hrs?), then "sudo port sync", then try
installing ncurses again.
