Apple seem to provide some basic hid emulation through its firmware.
Bluetooth hid devices are detected at boot and are then usable within
linux without the bluetooth stack being enabled.

I am not sure, but if you enable you bt mouse after grub it probably won't work
in Linux without enabling bluetooth.

BTW this is purely based on my own experience.
