Your guess is right, the built-in WLAN does not work. However, I got
a Dell Wireless 1390 Expresscard which uses the good ol' Broadcom chip
and thus is supported by both ndiswrapper and the kernel. This way I
can afford to wait until the built in thing becomes supported.
