When I plug my powersupply back in it will switch to 2 [default state]

About the Wifi:
I had the madwifi driver running under the older kernel. With 2.6.20 they
crash. But this should be fixed in the next release, i think (0.9.3). But
there is currently one open bug.
But it's true that the battery life under OSX is still better :(
