Hello all,
i recently bought and intel based imac 24'' and i have
2 problems: wireless and sound. Both are not working.
I use gentoo
I do not care about wireless right now but sound is
important.
I have tried everything from gentoo-sources 2.6.18 up
to 2.6.20 with and without mactel patches and applying
or not sigmatel patch. Nothing seems to fix it and at
the moment i use 2.6.20 gentoo-sources with mactel
patches and alsa compiled separately (alsa 1.0.14 i
think).
At one point i managed to have sound from external
speakers but obvioulsy this is not good enough
If anyone managed to make it work please post some
detailed instructions and a kernel config
