i *think* i'm not using the fglrx kernel module...whenever i try to
compile fglrx with this command, it fails:
m-a a-i fglrx
these commands resulted in no output:
find /lib/modules/`uname -r`/ -iname '*fglrx*'
lsmod | grep fglrx
however, i've specified fglrx as the driver for my video card in xorg.conf :
Section "Device"
Identifier "Generic Video Card"
Driver "fglrx"
Option "DesktopSetup" "clone"
BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
Option "NoDRI"
Option "VBERestore" "true
EndSection
i found this in /var/log/Xorg.0.log :
[drm] failed to load kernel module "fglrx"
so...am i using the fglrx module? i think i'm just using ATI's
proprietary driver.
