Try using the option key now in text fields. If this doesn't help, just VO-space on the VoiceOver Archive item on your Desktop and VO will return to the normal way you had it set. Second Thing to Try is to create a new user and test things on it: • Open System Prefs. • Open Users & Groups. • Press the lock to unlock this pane. • Press the Add user button • Give the user a name and password. • Click Create and let it do its work. • Close System Prefs. • Log out of this user and log into your newly created user. • Turn on VO • Open a TextEdit document and see if the option key works in this user.
