All,
here is the url to a www page that does a test using javascript of
whether or not your device is patched for the DST changes:
http://dst.umn.edu/
I have tested it on patched and unpatched Microsoft windows systems and
it seems to work. Interestingly when I run it on the N800 Opera browser
it seems to think that everything is okay. I checked the source and the
javascript invokes a time/date function and analyzes the results to
determine whether the system is or is not up to date for this change.

Apparently this has not been "anticipated" for Canada. I have my "home
city" set to "Vancouver, Canada".
Running the command "zdump -v /etc/localtime |grep 2007" tells me "Sun
Apr 1" but it should be saying "Sun Mar 11".

PS. Do we really need all these cross-posts? Seems to have been an
awful lot of them lately. :(
