I'm not entirely sure how to interprete this. You're basically saying
that Nokia is considering dropping scratchbox and the debian
integration model and replacing it with openembedded?

Please keep in mind that scratchbox offers little or no value for eg.
interpeted language developers. If you write python, scratchbox is
more in the way with its integrated python than it offers value. If
the hildon libraries & bindings are compilable natively on a desktop
system and (better yet) if the "standard" libraries (gtk etc) would
not have incompatible API, there would be absolutely no need for
scratchbox if you are writing python apps or plugins.

It would be nice
if you guys would say things as you mean them instead of going around
giving these vague statements.

If I'm not mistaken, Quim meant "we'd like to have a good solutions to
different needs, not just one for everything".

That doesn't exclude SB.
