I have now like this:

QSqlDatabase db = QSqlDatabase::addDatabase("QSQLITE");
QString name = QDir::homePath() + "/CurrencyConverter";
db.setDatabaseName(name);
return db.open();

It works fine directly from Qt Creator, but it doesn't work when installing
the Debian package. Any ides?
