It's just a reminder :
there seemed to be a consensus about using freeglut instead of mesaglut (as all
other distributions do, excepted Mandriva)

Because of compatiblity when upgrading from Mandriva this couldn't be done for
Mageia1 ...

Now this might be done in cauldron : some rpms are already built with
mesaglut-devel and require mesaglut
they need to have their spec modified and to be rebuilt:
(buildrequires : freeglut-devel instead of mesaglut-devel)
(requires freeglut instead of mesaglut)

Here is the list

crack-attack
cultivation
enblend
gl-117
gpac
hugin
jasper
libmgl-glut5
libtiff-progs (tesseracttrainer requires libtiff-progs, perhaps it need to be
rebuilt too)
mesa-demos
ocaml-lablgl
openscenegraph (flightgear and simgear require openscenegraph , maybe they
need to be rebuilt too)
perl-OpenGL
pymol
ruby-rbogl
supertuxkart
vegastrike

Maybe some others that I forgot ...

NB : freeglut and freeglut-devel rpms cannot be installed if mesaglut and
mesaglut-devel are installed ...

Maybe all these rebuilt rpms need to be pushed in core-update-testing and
tested by testers having installed freeglut instead of mesaglut.
In a second time if this was OK, they may be pushed to core and freeglut may
obsolete mesaglut
(an option in mesa spec allows to skip mesaglut building)

Hope this will help

Philippe
