The urw-fonts package is a confusing mess with multiple copies of the same
fonts, coming from different sources and different times. One of the things in
the package is urw-fonts-1.0.7pre40. There is now a urw-fonts-1.0.7pre44
available:
http://svn.ghostscript.com/ghostscript/tags/urw-fonts-1.0.7pre44/

which may obsolete some of the other copies of the fonts in that package.

Also, RedHat has changed their version of the package to 2.4, instead of the
2.0 we have now (neither have any correspondence to anything). Gentoo, to add
to the mess is using "2.4.9" to their version, as can be seen here:
http://check.mageia.org/updates.html

Could someone update the urw-fonts to pre44, change the version to (at least)
2.4, and try and sort out this mess?
