Caveat: I don't know exim! But the above does suggest to me that when it invokes MM_WRAP=MM_HOME/mail/mailman will do it as uid=mailman, gid=mailman (because it calls setgid(mailman), is exim running with root privileges? it can't change the group if its not). BUT the mailman wrapper is telling you that is not what is happening, its being executed as group mail. > > ###################################################################### > # MAIN CONFIGURATION SETTINGS # > ###################################################################### > > exim_user = mail hmm... very suspicious, looks like this is what is being picked up as the execution context. -- John Dennis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------ Mailman-Users mailing list Mailman-Users@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/ Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-users/archive%40jab.org Security Policy: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.027.htp
