An update on the release progress:
There are about 25 open bugs in JIRA:
most of them are pre ol-integration

currently being discussed on the lsit
Bug MAP-406 ZoomIn still active with new button
This is a custom widget issue so it's not a showstopper for the release
Bug MAP-404 Memory Leak
This is a complex bug, both in producing and in fixing. I'm going to
spend some time on it, but it's not a showstopper for the release
Bug MAP-403 Error loading page on WMS:GetFeatureInfo request
This is a 1.0rc2 bug and it looks like a configuration problem, not a
showstopper
Bug MAP-194 XML parse Error in IE6: cause special character "ñ".
There is a solution attached but it requires a java class. Not sure
what to do with this
Bug MAP-175 WidgetBase.js incorrectly mentions stylesheet
This bug is still valid, GertJan mentions that JSDoc and config.xsd
should be updated
Bug MAP-172 'error loading XSL stylesheet' when using IE & HTTPS
It seems to be an IE implementation bug without a good workaround,
I'd say it is a WON'T FIX since we cannot fix IE bugs and there seems
to be no workaround

The CSS needs some work anyway

I cannot reproduce this issue, but not sure that it's gone, anyone?
Bug MAP-59 GetFeatureInfo URL generated for a second WMS in same
context as first is repeated in the variable string.
This bug still exists I guess, since it's due to the way we build our
getFeatureInfo request, I'd say we take this to our next release,
since we're going to redesign requests are generated and handled then.
