I'm trying to get some opacity control into the layer control area -> using "-"
and "+" buttons to increase and decrease opacity and based it on your example
here:

but I can only get it to work in FireFox. It won't work in IE 6 or 7.
Unfortunately I really need it to work in IE7. I am currently using MapBuilder
1.5AlphaRC1 (.war Built on 17th March 2007).
I tried some of the changes you've mentioned via the SVN (your email dated 23rd
March 2007) and this did get the opacity working in IE, but any text in the
layers wasn't rendered properly I just got black blocks/smudges. I've noticed
this bug before in subsequent nightly builds of the alpha RC1, which I assume
is down to FixPNG(). But I've not tried any versions more recent than April
2007. Do you know if this capability has been fixed in more recent versions?
