That explains my problems with MAP-138 in IE (all Proj4Js related) - sooo at
least I'm not flailing in vain.

Subject: [Mapbuilder-devel] Proj4js broken on IE
Hi,
Proj4js is not working correctly in IE. It always seems to load
projection definitions from spatialreference.org. But, what's more
critical: it does not seem to parse properties like units, ellps and
the such from the proj def.
This results in MapPaneOL not getting the correct units, which will
cause some important functions like getScale() to fail.
Mike, can you please investigate and fix this, it is very important
that this works for the release.
I have re-opened MAP-443 and marked it as blocker. We need this for
the release, and going back to cscs is not an option because of the
convergence errors.
Thanks!
Andreas.
