Hello,

MGOS 2.1 and MGOS 2.2 will not easily compile on GCC 4.4 due to third party
dependencies (Xerces, Berkeley DB). A future release (MGOS 2.3?) with newer
drops of Xerces and BerkeleyDB should compile on GCC 4.4.

Since Ubuntu 9+ use GCC 4.4, native compilation will be difficult.

Binaries compiled on CentOS 5 do work on Ubuntu 9 and Ubuntu 10.04. Building
on CentOS 5 and copying the binaries to Ubuntu will work.

Regards,
Trevor
