For a rough estimate of the number of tiles at 1:1000, Assuming the computer monitor has a 0.25mm pixel size, there are 4000 pixels in one meter of "monitor space". At 1:1000, there are 4 pixels per meter (25 cm or ~1 foot raster resolution).
If each tile is 300x300 pixels, then each tile will represent a 75m x 75m area at 1:1000. Lower left x=713333 y=90707 Upper right x=716225 y=94906 The width and height of the target area is 2892m by 4200m assuming the coordinates are in meters. 2892/75 x 4200/75 = 2159 tiles. Assuming it takes 5 seconds to render a tile, 2159*5 / 3600 = 3 hours. Something seems odd here. 500 hours is two orders of magnitude longer than what I would expect.
