Always look at your browser dev tools and see if a network request failed or there is a javascript error on the console.
The init error message almost always isn't useful (it's only marginally more user-friendly than a blank screen, but that's the best we can do), the real error can generally be found/revealed through the devtools. - Jackie You wrote: When using mgReact-0.14.8 on MapServer2017 windows machine, layout is not showing.
