I'd like to share an invitation to the “Chachalotes del Pacífico (Sperm Whales of the Pacific) Workshop” which will take place virtually between November 21st through 23rd, 2022. the workshop will be structured as follows: Day 1: oral presentations of research on sperm whales in the eastern tropical Pacific. Day 2: workshops on field methods and data analysis for data collected on sperm whales with hands-on demonstrations. Day 3: round table for the creation of a sperm whale research and conservation network for the eastern tropical Pacific Ocean. While the workshop will be conducted mostly in English, discussions, and material will be available in Spanish. The workshop is intended for Researchers that work with sperm whales in the Eastern Tropical Pacific (ETP), including faculty, graduates, undergraduates, and government officials.
