The NY Times has claimed over and over that the Brotherhood has stood aside from the protests. The Brotherhood's own website gives the opposite impression (although there's some weaselly wording about relying on the constitution). Eyewitness accounts on their actual role would be good. Regardless, the various left/workers' organizations are hopefully uniting and growing in this historic moment.
