I've had problems with Jim Sleeper in the past but his take-down of Fareed Zakaria's new book in the latest issue of Bookforum is quite good. I hope that it will be available on their website. Reading it, I was startled to learn that Zakaria got in trouble big time for plagiarism. I have a good nose for that kind of scandal but missed it completely.
