As Charlie explains, such characterizations become ammunition in the hands of labor and other movement officials seeking support for Clinton - and thus taking energies away from building the kind of movements that can lessen the drift of the middle class to the far right. The label has also already led Workers World and its friends to begin organizing against the alleged fascist danger.
