For me the point of the story is simply that it matters what people think. I
just heard this individual on CTV saying,"I am not racist or anything."
We don't know who the anti-racist message reaches, until a moment like this.
If, in the small town of Emerson, there were more racists and fewer
anti-racists, we could be reading very different news stories.
