As Ken says, this call by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) is quite
important in the Canadian context.

The original can be found on CUPW’s national website at
http://www.cupw.ca/en/campaign/resources/time-revitalize-anti-war-movement

Of similar importance, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has issued
two calls in recent months for the formation of a national Solidarity Coalition
(one last fall, and one in the Spring of this year), as follows:

Why our postal struggle shows the need for a cross-country solidarity coalition
-
http://www.CUPW.ca/en/campaign/resources/why-our-postal-struggle-shows-need-cross-country-solidarity-coalition
 (from September 26, 2016)

Bill C-27 shows the need for a Solidarity Coalition -
http://www.CUPW.ca/en/bill-c-27-shows-need-solidarity-coalition (from March 23,
2017)

I think that comrades would agree with me that this marks an interesting and
exciting development.

I have been talking to both national and local CUPW leaders, and their aim is
to have social justice allies/partners, other unions & other progressives
(including socialist and anti-capitalist organizations) join them in formally
launching this national Solidarity Coalition for Labour Day in September.

Solidarity!
