I've been acquainted with Konstantin Kharitonov, an activist with the Russian Socialist Movement, for many years. He's a knowledgeable young man who will have a lot more accurate and interesting things to say about how the centenary has been officially and unofficially ignored, celebrated, discussed, and so on in Russia, than the BBC, whose coverage of Russia is usually deplorable, thin, hackneyed, and facile.
