Back in the 60’s, if I recall correctly, someone spoke to a gathering of
leftists, maybe the German SDS, and got a loud and cheering response to the
speech. Only then did he reveal that he was using the words of Mussolini.
An SWP comrade, I think it was Fred Feldman, said the only limitation on what
the right will say in extreme situations is the limitation imposed by the
mechanics of our instrument of speech.
