An independent disciplinary committee at the time came to the conclusion that an ISO member had clearly violated the organization’s code of conduct and should be expelled, but the 2013 Steering Committee interfered with the committee’s work, overturned its decision and effectively silenced anyone who dissented from the course it chose. ******* Just an aside, but I am curious. What if anything does the old leadership clique say in defense of its actions? That group, Sharon Smith et al, are quite verbose on all manner of subjects so one would expect them to publish something somewhere defending their actions.
